Advanced Cardiac Diagnosis

Our heart catheterization lab performs diagnostic cardiac catheterization, also known as coronary angiography, to evaluate blood flow through the coronary arteries.

Cardiac Catheterization Procedures

Coronary Angiography

Coronary angiography is a diagnostic procedure that provides detailed images of the heart's arteries. It helps identify the location and severity of arterial blockages and guides further treatment decisions.

Coronary Angioplasty

Angioplasty is a minimally invasive procedure performed in the Cath Lab to restore blood flow through blocked coronary arteries. A balloon catheter is inflated in the narrowed artery to widen it & restore blood flow.

Coronary Stenting

Following angioplasty, a coronary stent may be placed to keep the artery open. The stent acts as a permanent support structure, reducing the risk of future blockages and improving long-term blood flow.

Cutting Balloon Angioplasty

A cutting balloon catheter contains tiny blades that gently score hardened plaque before balloon expansion, making treatment more effective in certain complex coronary lesions.

Pacemaker Implantation

Our Cath Lab also performs permanent pacemaker implantation for patients with slow or irregular heart rhythms.
